Cravory Cookies partnered with Fan & Fuel in the summer of 2014. Cravory first approached us with concerns that their online store may not be working right. They couldn’t understand why they couldn’t grow their online sales beyond $500.00/month. We approached this project like every other new website; get under the hood and test the functionality of the checkout pages to make sure they are working properly, and they are secure. We quickly repaired the site then moved the conversation to a full website redesign.

Because the sales volume was less than $1,000.00 a month we didn’t want to suggest an enterprise level shopping cart, or anything else they wouldn’t need. And although they had an online presence we wanted to treat the project as if it were their first eCommerce build. We moved them to a new host but kept with the same WooCommerce shopping cart. We launched in mid September after a full rebranding effort and UI  site design. The redesign alone, without digital marketing efforts, increased sales almost 1,400%. The increase in sales was simply a result of company rebranding, the new website UI design, and fully functioning, secure shopping cart. All of which helped our decision to take things to the next level by embarking on an SEO and Google Adwords PPC campaign. After our first full month, the 30 day period between Nov 28 and Dec 28, 2014 the online sales increased by 15,100% from where they were month-over-month over the previous 24 months.

Fast forward just six months, we found that we have already outgrown the WooCommerce shopping cart. This is a great problem to have! We knew we would eventually find ourselves needing more capabilities with our cart, analytics, and digital marketing support. With most growing companies you will find that there are obstacles that limit growth. We just didn’t realize that it would only take us 6 months.

We are currently developing the new online store using a Magento shopping cart platform. We will also be taking the opportunity to launch with new branding and product introductions at a new site address. The Cravory is now going to become Cravory Cookies. Please don’t wait for the new site launch. Get in there now and order yourself some amazing cookies!
