I’m ready for fuel support!

Why FAN & FUEL’s month-to-month Website Maintenance Plans work for businesses

The goal is to make updating your company website a simple, pain-free experience. By providing personalized customer support, your website gets the full attention it deserves.

As a valued partner we will collaborate through our project management system and telephone. You can expect to be contacted within 24-48 hours after receiving any website maintenance request. Any rush or emergency changes from my clients are a priority.

Fan & Fuel’s concentration is not only on new project design and development. Many of my new partners already have an established website and their objectives are to simply redesign or maintain it. Revisions that can be performed in less than half an hour are usually executed within 24 hours.

FAN & FUEL’s month-to-month Website Maintenance Policy vs a complete website project

  • At client’s request, Fan & Fuel can maintain a current local backup copy of your website.
  • “Website Maintenance” is defined as to keep the inherited website content current. The time in the plan is not to be used or intended for a complete website redesign.
  • FAN & FUEL reserves the right to distinguish between the term “update” and “new design”. New design work is charged at a design rate.
  • Updates should be provided electronically (through F&F project management system) as much as possible. Attachments should be in .txt or .doc (Word) format. Pictures need to be .jpg or .gif. These require retyping data or scanning photos and will cost more to complete the changes.
  • Updates are completed within 24-72 hours of the time they are received, except weekends and holidays.
  • Time is based on actual total time involved in completing the updates including communication. There is a half hour minimum charge for updates made during any given monthly billing cycle.
  • Before any change goes live, we do provide a design comp to ensure accuracy of the request. However, in the event of an error we will not charge for changes that are our fault. However, if a change needs to be made due to client error, the regular hourly update fees will be charged.
  • Your website may be using third-party components such as web trackers, and weather info-feeds. Fan & Fuel has no control over third party sites and takes no responsibility for loss of information due to actions of these sites. Any changes to your site stemming from regulations of these third-party components will be billed at the normal hourly rate. For example, an eCommerce may use Authorize.net. If Authorize.net requires changes in the code, this will be billed as normal maintenance fees.

Unfortunately,
FAN & FUEL’s month-to-month Website Maintenance Service DOES NOT include:

  • Redesign of a website’s homepage or complete subsequent page structures
  • Restructuring of a website’s entire navigation system
  • Creating new logos or branding images
  • Interactive components or functionality additions
  • Database activity
  • Content writing
  • SEO related services
  • Design for email marketing campaigns or initiatives

The goal is the long-term partnerships with my clients.

Company websites, especially those developed on WordPress platforms, need ongoing maintenance services to keep the site software secure and up-to-date at all times. Fan & Fuel’s month-to-month plan also includes admin updates to ensure any/all plugins, apps or third-party integrations continue working flawlessly and without fail.

The primary goal is a long-term client partnership, even after the main project is finished- whether it’s adding a new website feature, creating a brochure or microsite for a product launch, or designing business cards for a new employee.

Most clients continue to work with FAN & FUEL on an ongoing basis — and a relationship is built — whether they’re based in San Diego, Carlsbad or anywhere else in the world. The ongoing month-to-month website maintenance plan gives existing clients priority scheduling for website maintenance and support services, such as website functionality and content updates and CMS software updates. Your website is kept up to date by utilizing the marketing calendar to include any current promotions or specials that are being run through various ad channels.
