They curate the best selection of products for San Diego coastal communities to shop for surf and skate clothing and accessories. They’ve been voted “Best Surf Shop” nine times by the San Diego Union Tribune Readers Poll and have held the title of “Retailer of the Year” and “Women’s Retailer of the Year”, which is nominated and voted on by SIMA (Surf Industry Manufacturers Association) and other industry retailers throughout the country.
Sun Diego partnered with Fan & Fuel to improve their web presence. I’ve redesigned and developed the Shopify site with a vibe that matches their surf / skate of the brick and mortar. I’ve added consistency in look and layout throughout the pages to include a mega menu, PDP pages that are structured with filters and a clean checkout page. This has elevated the user experience who now spend 50% more time on the site. Recently, we’ve engaged in digital marketing strategies. I’ve created successful marketing campaigns on Facebook and Google that have grown their revenue 2960% in a 3.5 month period. The transactions have grown 1320% and their eCommerce conversion rate 580%. Their number of new users has grown 123%.
