After a trip to Uganda, Chris recognized a gap and wanted to extend his skills to those in need of a trade. With colleagues, he established APAC Africa and now APAC ATI in San Juan Capistrano. The goal of this venture is to educate veterans, ex-convicts and those in recovery with automotive technical skills in a classroom and hands-on environment so that they can re-enter or join the workforce. The automotive industry is in great need for quality automotive technicians. Therefore, this non-profit serves a purpose for both the newly trained and automotive businesses.

Fan and Fuel designed and developed the apacati.org non- profit organization website with Chris Knuth. It is with great pride that Fan and Fuel worked pro-bono, dedicating a team of designers, developers and account managers to see this website’s vision launch at the end of 2020.

The result is an informative well laid out website that is content rich. The 9 page website gives the necessary information for all parties to understand how to get involved by outlining the curriculum, how to be a host shop or by simply donating through the easy 1 click button.

By Chris’ great example and vision for those aiming to immerse themselves back into the work force, a new career can become a reality with a little training and a lot of heart!
